Three steps

Tell us how you see the world.
Then meet yourself — and your people.

📝

1 · Tell us how you see the world

Take the 15-minute survey — 120 statements about what your attention naturally notices. No right answers, just honest ones.

📜

2 · Meet yourself

Get your Perceptual Profile — a personal report comparing how you see the world with 1000s of others: your perceptual type, your most distinctive lenses, and the kinds of people you naturally resonate with.

3 · Meet your people

Join a CLICK session — a guided online experience where 79% of past participants enjoyed it more than they expected and 70% made a real connection. And coming soon: profiles and a network of the people most compatible with you.

Resonance was created by UCLA social neuroscientist Matthew Lieberman — one of the founders of the field. Most matching tools guess from hobbies and demographics. Resonance measures something deeper: the lenses through which you perceive everything — and it's the only algorithm built to match people on that.

🤝

Made for friendship

Resonance isn't a dating app and it isn't networking. It exists to help you find the people around you who see the world the way you do — the ones most likely to become real friends.

🧠

Built on real science

The matching algorithm is inspired by decades of social neuroscience research on what actually predicts compatibility between two people. (Hint: it's not shared hobbies.)

🔒

Private, always

The survey and your report are free (and immediate). Your answers are used for two things only — your report and your matches — and are never sold and never shared. School and workplace communities stay gated to verified members.

"I've become alarmed at how many students are lonely and have trouble making real friends. I wanted to try and do something about this — so I created Resonance."
